At present, our community’s health is under threat. We are committed to our mission and have transitioned to offering TLC@home, using Learning Packs, Remote Learning, and Family Support to maintain consistent contact and communication with our families while we cannot gather together in person.
An additional measure TLC can and must take in response to the outbreak is to revision our annual fundraising event, the Green Apple Gig. We so appreciate everyone who supports our work and are saddened that we will miss an opportunity to get together on May 15, 2020. However, we are going to share updates and stories of lives TLC has touched through email and our website.
Through our programs, The Learning Collaborative prepares at-risk children and their families for success in school. We work to break the cycle of generational poverty through early educational intervention for preschool and pre-kindergarten children, and support and education for their parents.
Everyone’s health is important to TLC. In cooperation and collaboration, we stand together with our community to take measures to protect everyone.
